How do Istanbulites (especially those far away) remember their city, how do they  explain it to others, how do they talk among themselves, what do they remember when they hear, smell or see their Istanbuliteness, how do they continue to live their Istanbul identity? Istanbul Elsewhere is a a cultural project intended to explore what it means to be an 'Istanbulite'

As part of that project bak created an integrated campaign including design, branding, copywriting, videos and photographs for Meyhane Elsewhere: a digital space that captures the heart and warmth of a traditional Turkish tavern, a Meyhane. The campaign aimed to attract a global community of users and interest from investors while reflecting the atmosphere and friendliness of a genuine Meyhane.
