Wal Goch Festival for Football Lovers will be the first ever global festival of all things football related. Film screenings, books, games, fashion and memorabilia the festival looks to celebrate fan culture form all around the world. Supported by The Football Association of Wales, bak is creating the branding, design, video content and messaging for the festival.

This will be a major international festival that will make the host city the place to live, breathe and dream football in the build up to the World Cup in Quatar.

The challenge was to create a design language that pressed all the right buttons for our core audience of football fans. Our visuals and messaging had to be both nostalgic, tapping into the magic of football legends and lore at the same time as being modern and progressive.
