SSiW is a language learning method and app that wants to scale up the business from SME to a global brand.
We produced a strategic communications plan for the company and online film content courses for Welsh and Spanish as well as other marketing materials and activities. The Welsh content is in the form of an online sit-com featuring returning characters who are on a journey to learn Welsh. The sit-com features actors playing characters that represented key market demographics.
The tone is cheeky, ironic and knowing and focused on the internal Welsh market, appealing to the emotions of people who want to learn Welsh but have typically already had unsuccessful attempts to learn the language. The three films were viewed by 362,000 viewers over the course of the 4-week campaign. The company has seen a substantial increase in subscribers to its public profile.
